11 yr old looking for a youth golf set. Any help? Or should I cut down my old set and let him roll?

Do not do this. Get him a properly weighted set. Where do you live?

Why not? At 11, kid will out grow a new set in a few years. I grew up playing my Dad’s old sawed down clubs.

I was 14 when I finally got my first new set.. Ping Eye 2s (GOAT) that I played for 12 years.

Get his height, go to Edwin Watts and pick out a US Kids set that matches his height.

I think it depends on the context of seriousness.

Us kids on eBay if he’s just starting.

Once he gets serious put him in some ping ProdiG’s or wait until he’s 13 or so and get some actual Pings

Upgraded my 11 year old into ping prodiG about 6 months ago. Far and away better than US Kids—we’ve had basically every variant of those they make. They’ll reshaft for free one time as well.

Ping is king for junior golf

Go see Jeff at Edwin Watts, he will get you the correct set for him. Proper weight and length will make learning and his improvement move much faster.
