I’m taking my wife to Universal because she want’s to do the Harry Potter experience. I haven’t been there since 2004 and don’t particularly care about the HP stuff, but I want her to get the most out of the trip. Anyone have suggestions? We will have 2 days in Universal/Islands of Adventure with express passes. Will have one day in Epic. Extra day to play around outside the parks

Haven't been to epic. Is one day enough for that park? One day at the other parks with express passes is more than enough

We were able to do everything we wanted in Islands in one day without express passes including standing in line for Hagrid’s twice, Velocioaster and several more rides. We took the Hogwarts Express over to Universal and had plenty of time left for Gringott’s.

If you get motion sick easily from motion simulators, consider skipping the ride in the castle. I wanted off within 10 seconds of that thing moving.

I will also add that the velociraptor ride is one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. Just an awesome ride

Hasn’t been since
The new park opening.
Last time was Jan of 2023 (?)

I’d rather it than Disney 100%. Stayed at the Royal Pacific (or whatever the name was).. walked
To both parks and city walk, much more laid back, had the express pass bc stayed in premier hotel (recommend), so lines were no issue z

At the time the raptor coaster and Hagrids didn’t use them- went early and rode these first, then utilized single rider
Every time which was pretty
Quick. Usually on same car just not next to other .

You'll be able to ride everything you want multiple times. If you're staying at a Universal property with early admission, get there early and ride Hagrid.

Take the train both directions. It's a different experience each way.
