Should we do a 2026 Ball Test when the new offerings hit the stores ?

Going to be a lot of manufacturers ball updates coming touting "New and Improved"
One ball that is getting a facelift is the TaylorMade Tour Response with a softer feel and improved ball flight.
And maybe we can settle the White ball vs, the Yellow ball debate as far as performance.
Thoughts ?

I do not know any numbers, but I can actually track a yellow ball better in the air much better.
I prefer the tour response already so I look forward to the new one.
Cold here so I’m not sure the on course numbers will be the best, but IF I get some new ones, I’ll try them out.

Im interested in the new Maxfli. The current Tour X has passed prov1 for me in performance.

Do you think they raise the price considering their tour wins with Griffin?

Zero doubt they don’t go up. I expect they’re going to get some other players using them.

I’ve tried using a different ball this year and I keep coming back to this one.
Hell my daughter has switched to it for tournament use this past fall.

I’m not a smart man.
So you are “certain” they will not “raise” the price to build market share?
They did some crazy deal for their Tour ball that was $200 for 6 dozen or something if I remember.
I’m sick. Just a cold. Runny nose,
Maybe the meds make it where I’m not comprehending.

I like the new ball tour edge is putting out.

I look at how many I find. They are the fewest. They need more balls being played before trying to market as a premium option

That makes sense .
Get people trying it at $35/dozen.
Word of mouth.
Foundlings.

TP balls are sick!!! Tested them this week.
New Callaway tour balls aren’t much different than previous.
Taylor Made did something with their painting and coating to have less splotches which created 3ft better accuracy. No clue about that but it’s soft, spins a ton with wedges and less with driver.

I believe all their new models. I’ll have to get confirmation.
The ball I tested was TP

Yes all models. Don't take a blacklight to the old taylormade models, very splotchy.
