This can’t be good for global warming.

Hank Johnson is really worried about this. He thinks the island has sprung a leak in the bottom due to the volcano, and now it's sinking all the way to China.

It would take Kilauea 11 billion years to produce the same amount of CO2 produced by a single F250 with truck nuts in one hour.

Sulfates from volcanic eruptions reflect lots and lots of sunlight, cooling the earth.

Wait until the carbon capture factories that cost a few billion each come online. Suck it volcanoes.

ETA: I just chatgpt'd it...to reduce CO2 in earth's atmosphere by 1 part per million, we'd need to remove 7.8 billion tons from the atmosphere. The biggest projects would theoretically remove about 3 million tons per year. These things are the biggest boondoggle possible and we should never build a single one.
