Simple fix to College Football Playoffs

Create a formula for the teams to operate.
The best x (12, 16) teams based on the formula of their success that season get in. No human polls.
Teams can game the system as best they can as far as scheduling.
Bolster strength of schedule, head to head, and common opponents, etc.
It's not complicated, and being honest 12-16 don't really have a shot any way.
It's literally time. End the debate. Sell out to our AI overlords.

can you buckeyes envision a season with 8-9 challenging games where roughly half of them are losable? have y'all had any moments of anxiety this year?

If the B1G schedule is too weak to get us in, then the conference is forced to adapt.

Never gonna be a perfect solution, people were raising hell here back in the BCS era too.

The reason the BCS failed, aside from only 2 teams, was the power that be, will not relinquish the thumb on the scale.
If it's solely math, there's not a debate. And the BCS was never only math.

Calculate seedings based solely on SOS algorithms. Get rid of the cupcakes & media darlings. Current CFB playoff selection criteria is trash.
