Moved into new home. Garage door is sloped properly but the seal at the bottom of the door is doing it's job a little too well. Driving in with snow on the truck and when the snow melts it then pools at the bottom of the garage door with no where to go. I was thinking about cutting a few notches in the seal to let the water escape but that's not ideal so looking for other ideas?

Thanks

Can’t you just put a couple of 1x4 blocks or some such so the door doesn’t go all the way to the floor ? Remove in good weather.

You might have to adjust the door to put 3/4” blocks underneath it, but this is a much better solution than cutting the weatherstripping to permanently let critters in. The “best” solution is to cut in a trench drain inside the door and pipe it outside to a French drain or pop up emitter. The “best” solution may not be a practical one. I would probably just open the door occasionally to let water out.
