Anyone have any experience with this unit? Season over here and winter is brutal. Would like something to use in the garage during off season.

I like mine just fine with my net, but the RPT balls are expensive.
I really hoped to use it at the range, but it's just too much of a pain. As you work back on your divot line with irons/wedges, you have to adjust the unit. It's perfect with driver and hitting off a tee, or if you really don't take a divot and can stay in the same place.

I like mine.. I've yet to use it indoors with a net though ... I need to buy one for my garage b/c the weather we've been having I haven't been able to swing a club in almost a week..

I think with the older models some of the functionality was lost when using indoors with a net, like ball path tracking. From what I can tell they have improved the later models.

Are the RPT balls required? OR, does that give you more data like spin rate ?

Nope.. Only if you need spin numbers
When I bought mine it came with a sleeve of them

Just for spin.
The current bundles give you two dozen balls, which is great. Mine only came with three, and they cost $70 per dozen.

I’m also considering buying the MLM. Does anyone have any experience casting the picture to a TV screen?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I do from my iPhone occasionally. It works just fine.

I’ve had one for over a year. Zero issues with it, easy to use.
I haven’t tried it indoors, but it works great on the range. You can adjust between 10 metrics, it will display 4, but records all 10.
Carry
Total Distance
Side carry
Club speed
Ball speed
Smash factor
Launch direction
Launch angle
Apex
Shot type
I usually go Carry, Smash factor, carry and launch angle. Overall distance I spot check.
You can also carry it with you on the course, since it takes about 10 seconds to set up if you aren’t being pushed you can see how shots actually match up when it counts.

That's a great question. I was wondering the same. From what I can tell via my research you can cast it via Ipad/Iphone or use hardwire HDMI cables.

Amazon had them for around 200 on Cyber Monday.

Are you asking about the mlm or the mlm2 pro? Because you’ve got answer directed towards both.
If the mlm2 pro is what you are asking about I can give you a pretty thorough review.

Was asking about the MLM not the pro. I have heard the Pro is a great device .

Longball, do you think the Pro is worth the extra cost? I’m trying to decide between the base mlm and the Pro.

If you are just interested in basic data points on the range then I would say the mlm is plenty, but if you have any inclination to set up a sim or hit into a net then absolutely go mlm2pro instead.
I’ve logged over 15k shots on my mlm2pro in a little over a year. If hitting into a inclosure you definitely want the pro for the spin data with the RPT balls for accurate ball flight. Without a spin reading any of the low end launch monitors are going to show you hitting a pretty straight ball just push or pulled into a net because it only has 10-12’ for the camera to track the flight before impact. When in actuality with an accurate spin reading you may be draw or fading it back around. You also get AOA and club path with the 2pro over the original.
I find the Rapsodo to be the most accurate in comparison to trackman numbers of any of the offerings beneath the GC3.
Now if you are strictly looking for an indoor or net setup for sim golf and do not need the behind the ball setup for Right/left handed golfers I’d recommend the Square LM. Less space needed with a beside ball LM, no yearly membership, and has putting.

I have MLM2PRO as well To go with my net in the back yard. Works well for actually seeing flight path and knowing when I'm slicing, etc.. A must when trying to work on the driver for me and really beneficial for irons too.
My only gripes are that it will miss shots on occasion which is annoying if playing a sim round which I rarely do. And my camera replay and club path data has never worked right. It's a secondary thing to me and I have just been busy or lazy in c getting with customer service. Tried once and they had me reset it and stuff, but it still doesn't work. The yearly fee is a bit annoying too. Now that I have a membership and free use of a range, I may sell it when this years subscription is up.
