Landing a top 4 bucks pick and keeping our own pick would be quite the plot twist.

I think it’s a 2027 pick. Not going to help us next year

Wrong. If the bucks pick is top 4 we get the swap and it’s top 4 protected. We don’t owe the hawks our pick if the bucks pick is top 4 and we keep our pick.

We previously owned our own 2027 pick and Milwaukee’s 2027 pick

When Griff traded for DJM, he sent them one of the 2027 picks, but specifically it’s whichever pick is the worse of the two

HOWEVER, he protected the 2027 pick so that if Milwaukee is in the top 4, we keep both if they are in the top 4. Both have to be in top 4, if either are outside the top 4, Atlanta is getting the worse of the two

And that is all in 2027, correct?

Yes. We get the better pick between us and the bucks in 2027. But if both picks somehow land top 4, we get both. As of now scouts are saying the 2027 draft is the worst draft class in the last 10 years lol. But hopefully guys will improve.
