There's a protocol to these things.

One does NOT break protocol.

The college must provide the student-athlete with the proper official athletic aid agreement on white, 24-pound paper, 92 brightness paper through one of the following ways: express mail, courier service, regular mail, email, or fax.

The student-athlete must then sign the official athletic aid agreement during the designated period. The signature must be a wet-ink signature in cobalt blue ink. If the student-athlete signs outside the appropriate period, the agreement will be considered void.

The student-athlete and a parent or legal guardian must sign within 14 days of issuance in the presence of a licensed notary. Student athletes may sign their agreement before being certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center, however if they are deemed a non-qualifier, it is rendered void.

The student-athlete must return the duly signed official athletic aid agreement through one of the following ways: express mail, courier service, regular mail, email, or fax.

The signed and properly delivered official athletic aid agreement must be rigorously and thoroughly checked by an authorized employee of LSU, duly licensed by the NCAA. Any discrepancy between the requirements of the NCAA regulations and full compliance with same renders the agreement void.

Upon properly identifying the student-athlete's signature to play football for LSU and upon verifying full compliance with the NCAA regulations, the authorized LSU employee can then notify the LSUSports.net website tracker to update the LSUSports.net website. The LSUSports.net website can then post the student-athlete’s name on the website.

Then and only then, will Brian, or his duly authorized minion, post the student-athlete's name on the TigerDroppings Official National Signing Day Tracker.
