Lane talked about his offensive philosophy, how his 3 mentors were all great defensive coaches, and he listened to them talk about what gave them problems and so he designs his offense to attack defenses. this is what i've wanted for so long. Saban wanted his OC's to attack, and we got that during the Joe Burrow years. I attribute that more to Joe Burrow than the offensive staff, because Joe had such a great football mind. Not taking anything away from Steve and Brady, they did well, but it was mostly Joe.
Instead of just practicing plays and calling plays, this coach analyzes defenses and attacks the weaknesses. Outstanding!

I was saying yesterday that it had been a long time since I felt like LSU came out attacking an opponent, instead of sitting back to see what the opponent would do and going through the motions.
I’m looking forward to LSU football again.
