For years, there was at least one and many time multiple pompous fools running the show… we hit on some good coaches, Mulkey, JJ, Clark etc…but football and basketball particularly have been extremely frustrating to watch (2019 excepted of course and thank God for the greatest season ever). But this search shows, me at least, that the people in charge right now get it. Verge isn't perfect, but he gets it. Lane may flame and burn (doubt that, I think we are a lock program for 2 decades now), but these guys in leadership went out and got the best guy possible at this time. And they did it with an attention whore governor pissing in the wind. Im excited. Im looking forward to the days ahead to see what this program can become again and maybe even exceed that.

Landry said one stupid thing and to his credit kept his mouth shut after that.

Thank Governor Landry for getting the ball rolling.

Like it or not, Woodward would never have fired Kelly on his own. It took Landry’s push to get things moving.

No offense, but this is insane talk in this era of college football. I love LSU, but coaches don’t stay at programs for 20 years these days.

I’d love to be wrong, but I’d bet lots of money I’m not.
