They wanted him to keep Durkin and he backed off. That was reported midweek.

That was the narrative put out by the Sumrall camp. Golesh will interview Durkin this week and determine whether he will remain on staff. Sumrall was wasting time seeing if he could get a bigger offer, and it looks like Florida will be paying him very handsomely.
