Because LK will do the same to us in 4-7 years when he’s offered another coaching job with more money.

For now, I’ll ride the Lane Train as long as we’ve got him.

UM is not considered a Top 25 coaching job. LSU is universally considered top ten. Maybe top five. He would only leave for Alabama or the NFL IMHO.

I didn't want him four years ago and I don't want him now although I hope he has success here. He will be looking to better deal us within a year, we just won't know about it.

Why? LSU pays the same, has more in-state talent and doesn't have two previous coaching ghosts hanging over the program.

I think Alabama, Ohio State, and Notre Dame just have name luster more than LSU. This is my opinion. I also limited to Alabama with what I know about Kiffin.

His roster at Ole Miss turns over 60-70 % each year and yet he is wrong for leaving for what he thinks is a better situation? If you think changing jobs is always and only about money you will lead a long miserable existence. You also have to understand he has obligations to Sexton when he signs up. What Lane gets will set the price for all the other coaches not named Smart or Day.

We took their coach 4 years ago, it isn’t 1970 anymore
