Think about how much Saban being at Bama elevated that rivalry. Yeah, he beat us more years than not, but even when we weren't that good they got our best shot.

Now consider if he left us directly from LSU to Bama during a playoff run.

Bruh we already had the best season in the history of the sport with the worst coach that any Ole Miss fans has seen on their sideline. NOW we are taking the best coach that they've ever seen on that sideline and also taking away their best shot to do anything of relevance in 60 years.
