I am critical in my approach here. We often see polls in here asking who is LSU's top rival. I always have said Mississippi. Many folks here, especially younger ones disagree and say Alabama or someone else. The answer is still the Rebels. I think the younger fans forget who rivals because we have beaten them probably 70% of the time the past 25-30 years, but this doesn't change the fact. UM fans are experiencing true little brother syndrome right now. GTHOM!!!!

As a younger “pup” being in school during 2019 I think Florida is up there if not the biggest to me personally. Especially with the baseball rivalry on top of football.

The UF games from urban era were some of the most memorable games growing up and the 19 game as a student.

When a team makes a song about an opponent's QB I would say that is a rival. Archie Who in the early 70's.

Have that vinyl record. I am 38 but know the history. Knowing LSU single handedly cost UM two national titles and knowing they cost us the 1969 title. LSU-UM was the biggest SEC matchup pre-Bear Bryant.

As an old dog myself I agree. The vile and hatred between LSU and OM was at the top in the 50’s and 60’s and continued there after in many ways. I still consider OM as our true rival and now it’s going to get even better.

Bumping my OP. I tell you for the next couple of years, UM has catapulted back as the consensus biggest rivalry.

For them. A rivalry needs to be balanced to be reciprocated. If LSU runs with this thing as it should, it will be just like the Arkansas "rivalry."

I'm old. Ole Miss hasn't been good enough to be a rival in a long time. It's nostalgia and nothing more.
