OM squandered a prime opportunity

If I’m an OM fan who has never had the taste of any tangible success in 70 years.. I would want the guy who did it at the helm during the playoffs.

OM should have said “sorry you’re leaving.. but please see us through this season.”

Let Kiffin finish the year out.. go get Sumrall or others, and potentially let OM get some big brand recognition in the playoffs.

Now it’s a huge drama and the coaching distractions will be all they talk about on the 1st game broadcast rather than the brand at all.

Huge missed opportunity to take the high road here…

Lane is in a no win situation. Breaking up with the girlfriend just before prom but wants to go to the prom while sleeping with the new girl.
