If he had moved to the USA he would have been a huge star!

If Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf, “Baghdad Bob” had moved to the United States, he would absolutely have become a massive cult celebrity, an enduring meme figure, and probably a late-night comedy staple.
He had the rare combination of viral absurdity, no major blood-on-hands stigma, a personality perfect for satire and a public already fascinated by him.
He would have cashed in big.

Wasn't he vaporized during "Shock and Awe?"

Baghdad Bob was such a staple of late night television during the invasion. I remember quite vividly when reports were coming in that U.S. ground forces had reached Baghdad and he was denying them, even though you could hear the gunfire from the battle taking place less than a mile away from the press conference.

My favorite one was watching him on the street denying the Americans had invaded when there were videos of American tanks behind him going down the street.

No.
I thought he'd been reduced to rubble, but he may still be alive and well.

Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, known as "Baghdad Bob," became a public figure during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. After the war, he briefly worked as a pundit for an Arab news channel, but his current whereabouts are unknown, though some reports placed him in Qatar at one point. He was never charged for his role as Iraq's Information Minister and remains unrepentant about his actions, as noted on Wikipedia, NBC News, and NBC News.

This is completely incorrect. He was the face and voice of the enemy.

Frankly, he deserved an Emmy AND Peoples Choice Award for his work.

Irony not un-noticed. Both NBC and MSNBC also remain unrepentant about their actions as leaders of America's propaganda ministry.
