Found a nice one today closing a gate. Marked the hole he went into and he’s ready for pickup

Tigrrr dad, I have a question. I found a copperhead a couple months ago, when harassed it played dead like a hognose. Is this normal for copperheads?

I’ve never heard of a copperhead playing dead. I’ve only seen hognoses and coachwhips do it. I wonder if it had some type of injury.
