I think Jose will play way worse against starters and he is better from the bench, but at the same time I agree with that too:
Good news is that JB is not afraid of changing lineups and is not sticking to the exact same rotations every game, so sooner rather than later wins will come. And if we get to 30-35 wins while developing the rookies and at the same time restore some of Z and Herb value (so we can trade them in the off-season) will be good season for me.
