What even was Prime Mike Tyson?

Dude may be the biggest spectacle the sport has ever seen but what was his best prime win?

Tyson the most overrated boxer in history… off the top of your head name the 3 best fighters he best???… you can’t more than likely… the two best boxers he fought (Lennox & Holyfield) throughly dominated him… Tyson more of a “cultural’” champion than all time great boxer

I'm going with Tyson. Frazier gave Ali fits and I think he's the closest comp we have to Tyson. Ali wouldn't shrug off some of Tyson's punches the way he did Joe's.

Always found Ali to be a little overrated. Could've lost two Frazier fights and two to Norton. I don't recall Tyson ever being gifted a decision.

Can't blame the guy that he didn't fight in an era loaded with heavyweight talent.

He couldn’t hang with a natural middle weight without biting his ear.

I see a lot of people bashing Tyson for not having big wins. In his prime, who was around to fight him? He destroyed everyone in his path, then when Rooney and him split, that's when things started to go south fast.

I think at his absolute peak and Ali's absolute peak....shite, I just don't know.

Case can be made that Ali would keep him at distance and he'd out point Tyson for the most part, but on the flipside, if Tyson would be able to get inside, like hid did on everyone at his peak, he would have destroyed Ali's core and maybe get him w/ an uppercut. Tough call, which is why it's such a fun debate.

I’ve never met a boxing fan who thought Ali vs Tyson was a debate.

Case can be made???… you know Forman was stronger, bigger, and more skill than Tyson huh???… Holyfield basically a middleweight… Tyson is nowhere near one of the greatest heavyweights of all time
