Ohio’s Maria Stein Marion Local lost to conference rival St Henry 24-7 tonight in round 4 of the playoffs.
Marion has won 15 state titles in the last 25 seasons
Marion Local defeated St Henry 21-14 earlier in the year for SH’s only loss

If it was going to happen, this was the year. They won 3 games by 1 point so this wasn’t a fluke.

Yeah, they got bama treatment (refs) in one of the games I saw.
I think they won the state title last year 74-0

It's crazy how good those farm boys are in the small divisions in western Ohio.

The MAC is loaded
They have playoff teams in multiple divisions a lot of years
Marion local only has like 275 kids in their HS

Has to be below Division 2! These weren’t big name schools like St.Edwards, Pickerington or Trotwood Madison.

Good to hear Ohio high school football entertaining. Loved it going back to watching the Kelce brothers growing up!

I don't think anything will ever top De La Salle's 151-game winning streak from 1992-2003. Bob Ladouceur just might be the greatest high school football coach of all-time. His record at De La Salle was an eye-popping 399-25-3.

They have multiple state champions in a lot of years. It would be a stunner if St Henry doesn't win D7. Coldwater/Kirtland rematch will be a war for D6.

In Ohio, anytime one team gets a 30 point lead, it becomes a running clock. They had a running clock in the first quarter of that game. It was 60-0 at halftime. They'd have won state in any division below D3 last year.

They must have had a lot of talent graduate last year
Still, 76 wins in a row vs a tough conference (as a small school) is awesome

was on youtube, and watched some High school title games.

Amazed at how poorly coached some teams are. my favorite was in Iowa, where a power, some catholic school who recruits, got stomped..

their front 5 couldnt handle the other teams front 3, yes, 3>>>>>>>5

so what does their coach do, continue running full spread, zero help. other team had 10+ sacks, qb was walking wounded after final snap.

That coach showed us all, he wasn't gong to give in to his qb getting killed, he was showing us.
