I think Kiffin is coming to LSU he just wanted to finish the regular season

He wanted to coach in the Egg Bowl.
We would have heard of a contract extension today and the suspense would have been over and done with.
I never thought there was a chance he would leave before Egg Bowl.
I think today meeting with his AD confirmed that he will make a decision to leave and it will be announced next Sunday.

Checks out. Ole Miss wants to be in the playoff.
Kiffin is there best chance to get them there.
He will be introduced at LSU next Sat or Sunday

Two big inflection points on this time line.
1. After the Egg Bowl assuming OM win Kiffin will be badly torn to leave a team in the playoffs and this will be the weakest moment for change.
2. Kiffin decides to leave. Now OM is in the same boat as FSU was when their QB got hurt and got left out. Will the committee keep OM with the coach gone?
Another option here is OM lets Kiffin keep coaching. Does LSU continue to wait. There have been reports LSU will presuming a deal is in place. I do not think UF will.
