Treatment should be free. Expenses related to getting to the trial site aren’t always covered. You’ll get some reimbursement but if you need to travel and get a hotel you’ll likely end up paying a portion.

I located their gofundme... they state they need money specifically for the treatments.. they've raised a good bit, over a million dollars.

It's a weird campaign.. can't tell if this is FOR Lydia or for disease awareness/treatment funding.

Here's an update... sounds like it's for Lydia and everyone else too- weird.

Yeah I don’t think their plan is to get into a clinical trial. The treatment is pretty far along in the development stage so it reads like they are hoping the treatment gets approved early 2026 and they’ll be able to access sometime later next year. Idk if I’ve ever seen a gofundme with as much money as this one.
