Compare this Lane Kiffin scenario to the Lincoln Riley situation

Last coaching search I wasn’t as involved on readying the rant, coaching board, and other message boards. Everyone yesterday was saying that they didn’t want to believe it because of the Lincoln situation from last time. Was Lincoln family in town touring LSU like kiffins? Was there as many rumors of “done deals” like last time?

Never heard anything about family visits, but the rumors seemed more frequent with Riley to be honest.
Also, most fans recognize that Florida is a big threat this time around and Ole Miss is having a great year so Lane may want to stay.
Those that wanted Riley would hear no reasonable takes on why he may not come here.
