Does it seem likely that Coach O returns since they have worked together before?

We'll have to learn how to spell his name.

Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron have worked together multiple times, including at USC and Tennessee, where Kiffin hired Orgeron as his recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach. Their professional relationship has spanned over 20 years, and they have maintained a close friendship throughout their coaching careers.

Kiffin’s nickname can be L Corleone

I’d rather have Kyle Williams

I can't imagine a national championship head coach returning to the school that fired him to be a position coach.

Normally yes, but this is Ed O we’re talking about

While not an exact parallel, LSU just beat a guy last week who returned to a school that fired him to be the OC.
Orgeron is not getting a major conf. HC job. That's clear. He's never been a coordinator. So that's not happening either. He's 64 years old. If he wants to coach again, coaching DL at LSU with his friend would be an ideal situation. A bit awkward? Sure. But I think Kiffin is self-assured enough to not feel threatened by O, and I don't think O would have a big ego. Remember, this is a guy who was fired only 1.5 years after one of the best seasons in CFB. Most would have been pissed at that "disrespect" and left immediately. O stayed on to coach the rest of the season and has never talked bad about LSU since.
Frankly, if Kiffin took the LSU job I'd be surprised if O wasn't on the staff.

Can someone list all the championships LK has won in his career? I am sure there must be some since some people are considering giving him a contract over 100 million $. or at least that is the word on the street.
Does anyone else think that if LSU does that, that it has entered INSANITYVILLE for the 2nd time in 5 years.
