Should the next HC hire former NW HC Pat Fitzgerald as a “toughness” coordinator?

Fitz was cleared of wrongdoing and is telling multiple outlets he wants to coach again.

His NW teams were always at a massive talent disadvantage but were tough as hell. Tough as nails. Fundamentally sound, crisp, blocked and tackled well.

I feel like he’d be a hell of an asset as a “toughness coordinator”, and could help restore Miles-era grind-you-to-a-pulp grittiness to the program.


As far as a I know, there is no current program that offers a “toughness coordinator” position, so it would be attractive to be able to brag that you were the first TC in cfb history
