Quit asking if a movie you rented.....

This kind of grinds my gears.
Quit asking if a movie you rented is any good.
We are in a recession. Save your entertainment dollars by asking before , not after you have the movie.

I was sitting in a theater prior to the trailers and the guy in front of me called someone on his cell phone to ask if the movie he was about to see was any good.

No.

Is this thread any good?

Not really. Evidently many people don't have the common sense to ask before renting a movie.

Isn't it better to stimulate the economy in a recession?

Not Hollywood. They don't deserve to be stimulated with most of the dreck they put out.

Actually...

According to a list issued by House Republican leaders Monday night, the massive – and growing – bill includes a $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie investors in big budget movie projects over an 11-year period.

I'd settle for them stop pretending that their time is so valuable that they can't waste it watching a bad movie. You post on TD, you clearly have more time than you know what to do with.

Is this movie I'm about to bootleg from the internet any good?
