FCS Coach consideration

Kelly started off as a girls softball coach; and was a successful FCS coach. Got to start somewhere. How about the coach below.
Bobby Hauck (129 Wins)
FCS Record: 129-36 (13 seasons)
FCS School: Montana (2003-2009, 2018-
If not him maybe another FCS coach?

Just out of curiosity, what was Hauck's record when he moved up to coach in the FBS?

Kelly coached women’s softball initially and was the winningest coach in Notre Dame history!!!!

No, he wasn't. He never coached in FCS. GVSU is D-II. He jumped from there to Central Michigan.

The guy at my local high school here has won a few 1A and 2A state championships. Why don't we hire him?

If Kelly started as a women’s volleyball coach and at a D2 school in football as I was informed and became the winningest coach at Notre Damn , then I guess its possible is all I am saying.

The jump from FCS to FBS is wayyyy bigger than anyone really gets. And things like that rarely pan out. Klieman being my exception here because that guy flat out knows ball.
