A few guys left the plant I work at for Venture. All of them that I've talked to since the switch say they love it.

In 2023 the Plaquemine site hired 7 people from my unit. 5 of them still work there. The two that left had issues with them making promises for money but not following through, not sure how true that is or the specifics. All of them hate the drive but not enough to leave. I haven’t heard any complaints about the company itself though.

From what I understand, if you’re ok with working hard; they pay better than anyone else.

What type of work would this be?
I ask because I know some guys in the financial world that say they “work hard” and their definition of hard work is very different from actual hard work.

100% paid insurance for the entire family. You get the opportunity, take it.

Plaquemine. I was offered a maintenance mechanic position a couple years ago which would have meant a small raise and a nice boost in PTO per year, but I wasn't interested in driving to Belle Chasse every day from Slidell. Plus I knew they'd be working crazy hours once they started commissioning the plant and I'm not interested in all that OT anymore.

That drive down there sucks. I interviewed with them a little over a year go and they have dumb policy of needing to do five separate interviews. I mad it through three and another company offered me a job that I couldn’t turn down.
The company I’m with only ask that we be in the office three days a week. Global was wanting 5 days a week.

Yea my current job i was at 3 weeks of Vacation, almost tripling that with the 80 hrs of PTO they have offered.

> yea ive heard possibly 2 years of 13/1 after we get on site and start commissioning!

> this alone is going to save me $9800, current insurance is 770 per month
