Does College Football look at catch rule after season?

Surely this rule needs to be modified? Ive seen multiple instances just today of what looks to be a catch. If it’s out of bounds or end zone and all that matters is you have possession before going out the. Why do you have to survive the ground? Just my random thought.

Just put this in the rule book…
“If the call favors Alabama, it’s a catch. If it hurts Alabama, then it’s incomplete. If neither, just flip a coin and make up some new shite.”

Agree. Yet, if you break the plane of the goal line and then lose it immediately right after, somehow that is not losing possession or a fumble. But for a catch, you basically need to carry the ball all the way to the locker room for it to be upheld as a catch.
