After reading his article and reading what others are saying, he's probably going to commit to either OU or Texas very soon. Seems to me that it's loudest from the OU side.

for QB's, I'm going to take a stab at where some of these guys that are on the board. I'm talking about realistic options. Not Heaps....So, now that Connor is more than likely staying in Big XII country, my guess is this will propel Broadway to #1 on their board?

Also, is Legaux an reasonable/realistic option? 43/9 ratio isn't bad.

OU would be a smart move for his benefit IMO. Garrett Gilbert is already waiting in the wings at UT.

Not really, but you never know who will leave, Lee could transfer if he doesnt beat out Jefferon. So I think at least try and take 1 qb in the 2010 class.

I know that as of a month or 2 ago, Jeremy Meyers had a preferred walk-on from Crowton if he wanted it. I don't know what his chances of actually getting offered as a QB are though. A lot of people want him at safety. But if he gets an offer from LSU for QB, absolute lock.

I think we will be alright this next class without a QB, but I thought the same thing in 2006 when we Alex Cate decommitted. I suppose taking one every year can't hurt.

yes, IF shep switches to WR, we could be back to 3 QBs, assuming Lee doesn't bail. 2 if he bails.

I think the only way we sign a Broadway/Heaps/Wood is if one of our current 4 QBs transfers before NSD 2010.

Unsure if the coaching staff will take a guy like Taylor Burch in this class since QB really isn't a need.

I doubt Sam Carter receives an offer from us. Wood doesn't have us on his radar. I don't think the staff is sold on Broadway as "the guy" for this class. To be honest, I don't know who they are going to target all out, but it will likely be after the 2009 HS season has played out imo.

Prom one name to not forget is Wes Luquette. A baseball signee, but he has some skill as a QB. Stranger things have happened.

I know Burch's name keeps getting thrown around, but he will not get an offer.

Connor Wood is pretty average by the way. I would take Chris Garrett any day over Wood.
