We have so many new players it's hard to gauge were we are at. At this point, how are we looking for the up coming season. Do we have any hr power from the new players? Also, iam really glad we have a great young coach that looks to be here for the long haul. After this crappy football season, baseball these past few years have been something to look forward too.

Thanks.

Don’t worry about it. Jay has this under control, so sit back, enjoy the 5 star drama that is football right now, and before you know it we’ll be melting about losing to a couple no-name programs on Tuesday nights, maybe drop a series to a team nobody’s heard of, then we’ll laugh at it in June while discussing super regional rain delays as we make Omaha reservations.

At least the negitigers have had a lot of practice with football. Those poor souls are going to have carpel tunnel before summer.

We probably don't have two dominant starters as last year, but there are more capable starters who can also be long relievers. Several closer and stopper candidates as well. Defense should be adequate and offense will be a bit more power laden. Third and second base are the contested positions so far with capable players vying for starter roles. Qualified depth at every position. IMO, Omaha is a realistic goal.

Thanks as always for the stats buddy!

Sorry I missed talking to you at the CC meeting. I saw you guys but didn't want to interrupt y'alls conversation as I was walking in later than I expected.

I'll probably see you again on Sunday at the Box.

Pitching roles are currently a question mark but there is a ton of talent there. Probably as deep of a staff as Jay has had here. No proven top top end guys at this time, but keep in mind we didn't really have any last year at this time either. Anderson had a good not great freshman year and Eyanson was coming in from a lower level.

Between Evans/Cowan/Schmidt/Williams/Moore/Sheerin/Noot/Guidry/Rizy/NDSU transfer/Paz/Oregon transfer/Fontenot, i think you will have enough arms to make a run. I'm 100% leaving off impactful arms as well.

C (Arrambide) 1B (Yorke) SS (Milam) LF (Stanfield) CF (Curiel) RF (Brown) all seem to be set. 2B is likely between Dardar/Simpson/Reaves/freshman, 3B is likely between Carraway/Dardar/Reaves/Simpson/Pearson/freshman.

DH will be a rotating cast of the above plus Harden and Serna. Serna also probably plays the Arrambide role (1 game per weekend) behind the plate.

A ton of talent and honestly the noncon may be the most entertaining we've had in a while just because of all of the position battles. Super excited for this season.

I hope the rain allows a scrimmage Sunday.

Yes sir. Likewise here. I have been needing to get my baseball fix after missing the past few weekends. February is too long of a wait for me.
