Who had confidence we make a great hire?

I just want a coach who has fire and wants to win. I don’t care if its Lane Kiffin or a D3 coach somewhere.

A big name hire isn’t necessarily a great hire (see Brian Kelly).
How many people thought Nick Saban was a great hire when he was hired? I can assure you not many. Most of our fanbase thought he was a very underwhelming hire at the time.
Kirby Smart wasn’t considered a great hire by Georgia at the time.
Nobody thought Kurt Cignetti was a great hire by Indiana. Most people never heard of him prior to Indiana hiring him.
We will know we got a great hire when we see huge improvements in the program.

When 3 coaches in a row do it. Let's be honest. Lots of miles guys bailed when he got fired. Orgerons first year was not as deep as good lsu team of that era. And he didnt have NIL to fill gaps.
