Don’t kid yourself. There were negotiations and assurances given with the gov’t closed (contrary to what repubs have said all along) and you can bet we don’t know everything until they decide if and when to tell us. Is it a coincidence that the number needed was 60 and bingo 60 is what Dems allowed. Dems stick together. Always have. I think Schumer and others are acting and trying to save face.
