Nuss just has awful instincts in the pocket.
And he doesn’t have athletic skills to mitigate against his reliably terrible impulses.

Garrett was never a great runner but he showed some really good pocket nifty-ness at times last year. To me, he just looks like he’s seeing ghosts out there with the rush now. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but Nuss looks like a QB whose OL has gotten him killed all season and now he’s a shell of himself.

When did I say I expect him to change? I never said that at all. And I’m not defending Nuss either, I’m just objectively telling what my eyes show me. I’ve seen what’s happening with Garrett happen to QB’s before from the coaching side and it seems clear to me that he is 100% rattled mentally.
