LSU vs Ark Tailgate Advice

The wife and I attend a couple of games a year and occasionally tailgate (every couple of years) with 4 or 5 friends. This year my brother and his family wanted to attend a game and tailgate which they've never done.
After the Clemson game we settled on the Arkansas game and got tickets and hotels (we live in NE Texas)
With the 11:45 kickoff I don't feel like a tailgate makes since but the first timers are excited. I normally cook jambalaya in a 5 gallon set up. Trying to figure out if it makes sense to try to salvage the tailgate. At this point, a post game tailgate doesn't seem like it would be much fun and I feel like we may be the only ones doing a morning tailgate.
Any advice ?

The early kickoff just means you drink Bloody Mary's and eat breakfast sandwiches while you cook the jambalaya.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I'm over reacting to the early kickoff announcement. I got really bummed out when I saw that timeslot. At least it's not an 11am kickoff!

Eggs and bacon. Bloody Mary bar. It’s breakfast weather u like it
Or not.

It was slotted as 11am to noon before the seasons began.
Just get out early, drink bloodies, and enjoy the day.

Morning start to a meaningless game.
On a scale of 1 to 10, the tailgating scene for this game will be about a 1.

Wow... I guess my rookie stats are showing and my fate was self-inflicted.
Seems like when I look at the schedule early in the season the kickoff times are mostly TBA. Didn't realize they may actually have a time slot assigned.
Thanks for the information.

I would just go straight to the game. Those early starts suck because traffic gets bad early since everyone heads to the game at the same time basically. Hopefully it will at least be nice football weather.

I realize the early kickoff isn't the biggest issue. If it were just me, I may not even make the trip to the game and certaily wouldn't be looking to tailgate.
I guess it's bloody marys and breakfast burritos. Hopefully the game will be competitive and I know the company will be good.

They are TBA but ESPN assigns time slots preseason.
For example, OU is either afternoon or night kickoff. Arky was always 11am to noon.
