Surprised I haven’t seen a thread like this yet

Defense played great but was on the field too much and/or our offense otherwise put them in bad situations. Bama scored almost exactly the same amount of points mostly from their QB/WRs/TE making plays more than our defense giving them up.

Offense was garbage. Sure we crossed the 50 yard line and score 3 field goals but 2 of those times our offense started in bama territory due to defense getting turnover on downs and forcing a couple fumbles/recoveries. Sure, a much needed QB change was made at the half this time but REC killed any chance of that providing the spark and momentum we needed

We had zero expectations to win last night… it’s literally not even in the ballpark

Such a ridiculous take. To act like the national title game was the worst thing that ever happened to us is the silliest and stupidest thing of all time. That was a great team with some incredible leaders who were undefeated. You should think you’re lucky stars les miles Was our coach.

No one should have realistically felt like we would compete last night. Not even close to the same.
