MAGAs aren’t freaking out, Trump and JD have basically scoffed at it. It’s panicans pretending to freak out and Dems acting like they destroyed MAGA cause they got some already expected wins

My 2-1 republican county just elected 2 dems to the school board.
I will also probably lose my right to gun ownership in effect come June of next year. Joy.

ETA: overall I agree though. I held no illusions that republicans would win basically any race this cycle. It’s not how this works. Incredibly rare to win more when you’re in power.
I was somewhat surprised that our statehouse flipped so many seats. Instead of a 1 vote majority it’s now a 25+ vote majority.
The state senate is still a 1 vote lead though. Technically 2 now with the LTG flipping.

It's ok to be disappointed because I truly thought the NJ race might have turned red.

If we are keeping the winning score up (Score 0-100) - MAGA is still at like a 95 and Democrats are still at a 5 (as far as winning things go)
Yesterday was all the Bluest of the Blue and Republicans still kept the races very competitive - Imagine if we had 100% fair elections?

It's going to take time to really see the negatives. So freaking out now just brings attention to "see it's not happening like they said" msg during the midterms.
