Yes. A lot of them also funded Landry's campaign. He's in no position to tell them no if they really want to pay a guy a lot of money

Yes, but they don't have final say. You massage their ego as much as you can, but ultimately they don't get to hold the program hostage.

In the last week and a half this is the first “rumor” posted that I heard the same from credible sources. Still not saying it’s 100% accurate but I don’t know you and we heard the same. The guys with the checkbooks told Landry to sit down and STFU or he wouldn’t have a campaign next go round.
