Less than 2 weeks until I go. Excitement is an understatement. I plan on getting my stuff organized this weekend, watch LSU get the piss beat out of them, and then go change some camera batteries on sunday, might even make a hunt.

St Tammany
Sat in a ladder behind the house before work. Saw a dark figure come in 5:42am. Stayed on the edge and slipped out 5:46am. Camera sends me the pic of the 8pt im playing hide n seek with.
He must be feeling pressure. He was coming out in daylight in mid Oct. Last few weeks he is skirting daylight hrs. He walks towards the plot then gets hung up 5-6 steps inside the woodline and then just backs out quietly. He only commits fully middle of the night. Thoughts?

Hunting pinch between creek bottom and overgrown field
Had a shooter skirt by me at 55 yards at sunrise. Had a 120” pushing a group of does at 9:30. Debating if I should stay hunting this tree or shift towards the south. Wind is starting to shift east
