I mean their resume/schedule is probably as good as Indiana’s if not better if we are being honest.

That "close loss" ( to put it mildly) was on a sketchy controversial last play to the current #3 team in the land.
If people don't want to even watch games or extrapolate and say, hey Notre Dame's pretty damn good...and just stick to who has the most W's regardless, then why are we in a Playoff system...a team with 2- losses by 4 points combined to Top 10 teams is sorta why we have this bloated Postseason. Notre Dame hasn't lost to NIU and they haven't gotten blown out like Bama against (1-4 ACC) FSU.

It’s not better than Indiana’s, but it’s definitively better than Oregon’s.

Notre Dame is actually pretty damn good this year.
They lost to Top 5 (#2 and #4 at the time, if I remember correctly) teams by a total of 4 points.
