easy to use Bluetooth projector?

I want to get one of those small projectors to cast video from a phone on to a white screen, outside (at night). I am not proficient at the various ways and means but I do know how to cast from my phone to the Roku TV inside. I would use a Bluetooth speaker for sound
“Airplay” I think is the method I use. Any suggestions on a decent projector? Thx!
Edit: the Wi-Fi signal where I want to use it can be a little shaky, I’m working on boosting it. If it would help I have power on the deck and I’d be fine connecting the phone to the projector with a USB cable/etc

Do you have a laptop available? Would probably be better quality to stream it on the laptop and then use an hdmi to the projector

yes I can do that too I assume I can figure out a way to cast. The laptop is windows based.

ETA: oops I just saw you want Bluetooth… will leave this here anyway

I’ve streamed from an iPad to projector with good quality. Can get this adapter that plugs into the lightning port, that has an hdmi output as well as a lighting input to keep charged while in use.
I’ve used an AAXA P5 projector, but I don’t think it’s available anymore.

here’s what it has to do…there’s nowhere to plug in to the internet on the deck. So the signal carrying the video must be received by a device Wi-Fi enabled…I have that. After that I’m fine with a cord from the device to the projector and I already have a Bluetooth speaker

My speaker has Blue tooth but I still run a cable from the projector to speaker so there’s guaranteed no delays.
What are you using for a screen outside?

I can't add any more than others here have already given you. But I can give some advice. If you live in a neighborhood, I hope you have good neighbors. Some bitchy neighbor called the cops on us when we hosted around 10 boys for my son's birthday party. Yea it was kinda loud but if you've been around 11 10year olds you will understand. Cops showed up and they were cool, just turn it down some.
It's not a party until the cops come.

I have a slim high-def Epson projector, can connect to my phone via its own WiFi network and using Epson's app. Can project my phone's screen or use my phone as a presentation remote. Not cheap, it was a little over $700 when I bought it years ago and I'm sure there are more options now that are cheaper. This is one of those things though where if you cheap out will probably not be happy with the results though, there are whole websites that cover projectors and how to chose the best for your usage. Also, most multimedia and business projectors have a speaker built-in so no need to run a separate Bluetooth speaker. Mine has a standard phono jack for audio output too, I have run it to my Bluetooth and PA speakers for military briefings.

They do have “smart” projectors these days that are relatively cheap. They have interfaces similar to the smart TV’s where you can install streaming apps directly on to them and control with the remote. Eliminates the need to actually connect them to anything other than wifi
