frick defense, we already fricking suck at it, zion should be playing the majority of his minutes with Poole and Trey always.

Swap Poole with Herb and I like it. Poole and Bey off the bench would be a good scoring combo. Plus Zion is with the 2nd team a lot so Poole and Bey’s shooting could help a lot. #1 thing is getting Willie out of that building.

Poole and Herb can be interchangeable depending on the game/matchup. I liked the Fears+Poole synergy. They can both penetrate and create.

Our next 3 should be Fears, Jones, and Queen
Looney should get some minutes when he gets better. Hawkins can get a few when he's got a hot hand. I would like Matkovic to get some looks too. Alvarado is a deep bench guy at this point, same with Jordan.
I want the rookies facing bench guys right now. When Murray comes back, that moves Bey to the bench..

Fears is playing well against starters now. He and Queen are liable to be the only bright spots of this season. Unless Murray comes back and starts killing it, it would be a really bad idea to change anything with Fears.
BTW, Fears's last 2 games: 59 minutes, 3/8 (37.5%) on 3pt, 14 assists, 1 (!!!) turnover, 6 (!!!!) steals.

I want him and Queen to be in low pressure situations, but supported with a clear role. It is a delicate balance. It would be easy to overwhelm either and get them into bad habits.
When I look at our weaknesses, we are small and getting killed on the boards. We need more power and strength in our starting unit. Plus Missi is the best Center on our roster.

I want Queen playing next to Looney to mentor him in real time on the court. He can get some minutes at center when Looney goes to the bench after he gets Queen prepped up on the assignment.
