Perkins was not horrible, it was only that he was following a legend

Curry got caught up in an internal power struggle in the Atletic Department and Gene Stallings was the beneficiary

Stallings won a Natty.....could have gotten a second one if not for LSU upsetting them.

Dubose.....well......

Franchise......had to deal with Dubose problems then quit.

Mike Shula took on an almost impossible situation.with sanctions and scholarship reductions and microscopes all over

Franchione had a great year 2 in 2002 but then bailed (blowing off the Auburn game in the process) because of the sanctions coming down the pipe.

It's working out ok for Georgia Tech so far
It shouldn't be the main criteria, but as part of the evaluation it doesn't hurt.
