There was an East Wing of the WH before MSM told them to be enraged about it?

Probably a lot to be honest.
The east wing tours of the White House are the ones that are more accessible for the average public.
You need to have a connection and administration usually to get a West Wing tour.
So to answer your question, a lot of the general public has been on an Eastwing tour.

Yeah, the old TV series with Martin Sheen was about the wing on the other side.
Good series btw.

I did the WH tour six years ago and the only part of the East Wing you see is the main hallway/colonnade which takes you into the ground floor area of the main residence. It was nice but not terribly remarkable.

Are you saying you DIDN'T know there was an east wing before?

I knew there was a west wing, so I assumed there was an east wing as well.
Otherwise, the west wing would just be "the wing."

Of course I knew there was. I’m saying the general public with nose rings that can’t name all the states or have any idea how government works. I honestly bet a lot of the younger people so mad on X, Instagram etc are just brainwashed.
