Why? because there are 7 of them? That's how iconic horror franchises work. Guess what, there is going to be a Scream 8 and 9 as well, this is the start of a new trilogy

Yeah, and Dewey, which is why a lot of people are thinking it has something to do with AI. If you listen you can hear Dewey's voice in that trailer.

I am in. If it is good then they should keep making them. There is nothing wrong with doing it as long as it is well written and makes sense.

Not saying all of the movies are 5 star, but when talking franchises I think Scream is the most consistently good. When Scream 3 is considered your worst movie you are doing something right as a franchise

I would say 6 was by far the worst. I am so glad they dumped that story line when the Barrera was fired and Ortega quit. Leaving Neve out of a Scream movie is unacceptable.

On the surface it seemed like that trailer gave away quite a bit. You think they would have openly teased Stu to some extent.
Actually listening to it again that was definitely Lillard's voice at the end.

Oh i like 3 as well, I like all 6 of them. Just saying that 3 is generally listed as the worst when rankings are done

Watch the end again, that's him talking at the end. Also, Ghostface saying "Im not hiding, not this time" and saying "where WE grew up" makes me wonder if we get a situation where we know who Ghostface is (Stu?) and the reveal at the end will be who is helping him.
