Fender sent me an email today offering 36 months interest free financing on a new guitar.

I don't really need a new guitar. This would be nice though.

Just do it! I have that same guitar in Sunburst. Kinda wish I had bought surf green. Great guitar.

Great to hear man.
I had a surf green telly once that wasn't a great guitar. It looked just like that, with a single coil at the neck, but only had cheap everything. The compliments I would get about the way it looked though were awesome.
More than any guitar I've ever had.

I believe fender calls it Seafoam Green.

Waiting for someone to make fun of my mismatched knobs.

I don't really notice that as much as the dust built up on your neck pickup The good ones get played man.

I play it every day. That's why it's nasty. Others are locked up in a closet, all clean-like.

I've got 5 or 6 that I rotate through fairly regularly, all of them need some attention with a good cloth and pipe cleaners.
It's good that you have found an absolute favorite. I've never been able to do that.

Thank you for bringing this up.
A real grease bucket is deadness
Maybe they mean hot bacon grease?

Meh - that link (fender.com) calls it "Satin Surf Green" and it does look different to me:

ETA: I think Seafoam has more blue to it.

These are both "Mystic" but Surf on the left and Seafoam on the right:

Surf Green and Seafoam Green, while close, are in fact two different colors in Fender world.

Surf green has more yellow in it and Seafoam green has more blue.
