Thoughts on Wade Rousse?

Obviously this guy will have say in the HC hire if he is installed as LSU president… but I’m also curious as to his time at McNeese.
Did McNeese do well under his tenure?
It would be nice for LSU to bring back their testing requirements that were relaxed under Tate.
Not looking for a political debate, but I can assume this man’s political affiliation if Landry is tapping him for the job.
If he takes out any woke stuff that’s a plus, but Tate was sort of woke but did some good things for us so don’t want to make a mountain of this.

The loud minority will say it’s a terrible hire he lacks experience in some far off liberal arts college and is aligned with Landry.
As long as he keeps fundraising up and finds ways to bring in both out of state enrollment as well as keep more in state students from leaving, I couldn’t care less.

From what I read he’s done a good job turning McNeese around financially, and was also instrumental in bringing Will Wade to McNeese

From what I’ve read - seems like a dollars and cents type of guy. Going to look to cut the fat which is probably needed at LSU. he’s aligned with Landry - so I would guess we won’t be catering to the DEI crowd for scholarships, etc… helped bring tPear to Lake Chuck - so he likely realizes sports are instrument to a universities success.
