I would rather Kelly remain HC than allow Landry to have any say in the search.

For the record, I don’t care if Woody stays or not, but i have zero faith that a politician and his self appointed BOS cronies can do a better job than a sitting athletic director. What a shite show. Total worst case scenario for LSU football.

Who do you think made the decisions before? The board!

Wait till he dismantles our baseball program

I would let the 5th grade class at any grade school hire the coach over that piece of shot Woodward.

Well, Kellys gone. Maybe you should go too, with your lack of understanding how things happen at a state run institution
Do you think Tate was selected without the approval of JBE?

Following a national search, Louisiana State University has selected Dr. William F. Tate IV to serve as its new president, and I congratulate and welcome him to this new role and to our state. This is a historic moment for the Louisiana State University system, as Dr. Tate will become the University’s first African American president and also the first African American university president in the Southeastern Conference.
I share this goal of making higher education more accessible to students from all walks of life and all areas of our state and beyond and in growing the system’s prominence and I welcome his experience, vision and insight. I congratulate Dr. Tate. Dr. Tate will lead Louisiana State University during a challenging time in its history. It is no secret that LSU is coming face to face with Title IX issues, including allegations that have been absolutely gut wrenching to hear. All students should be safe on this and every university campus in our state, period. Dr. Tate will have to tackle this very important issue and I am confident that he is the right person to lead LSU.

Very government employee understanding of the market were in for coaches....
Having the governor publicly make statements like he has pretty much guarantees we are out for any top candidates. Sorry, Jeff doesn't dictate the market.

I had a dream monday night that Landry canned CJJ.
Felt the same as one of these dreams when you fall off a building or bridge and wake up in a sweaty panic

He's already done a better job than Woody

Given Landry's selection to department heads around the State, the next LSU coach will be a friend of his from South Central Louisiana with minimal experience.
