For me, it's Wagon Wheel.

"Heeeeeey Rock me Momma"

I can't stand it. I know I know I know it's universally popular and I'll get down votes, but it's the point of the thread.

Sort of the opposite of a guilty pleasure, what's your guilty hate?

Bohemian Rhapsody by a mile. I have a standing rule in my kitchen that the servers are not allowed to sing along when it comes on the radio. Left unchecked they'll all sing along and carry on like it's an amazing coincidence they all know this super obscure song. It's nauseating.

The other rules are if Aerosmith ever comes on the last person to touch the stereo is permabanned from music selection, and I'm the only one allowed to choose country music songs.

Far too many to list here. Anything by Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, or Johnny "Cougar" Mellencamp. Most of the AOR music that we are forced to listen to on commercial radio.

Almost 75 years of rock music and we've been forced to hear the same 100 songs for decades.

I've never understood that.. So much music from the same albums is NEVER played. Who the hell negotiated these ironclad deals!?
At a previous job, I challenged anyone in my department to ask me the name of a song or artist currently playing on the rotation of approved stations we tuned to during the day, and if I couldn't list the artist or song title, soft drink on me.
I never lost.

Whenever I'm stuck listening to standard rock stations I always think about how being a DJ at one of these places would be hell on earth. Just the same 100 songs day after day, year after year. But very few have real dj's anymore.

Funny you mention that. Since my intro to DL was Pour Some Sugar on Me and that album (Hysteria?), I've always actively disliked and avoided hearing any more of them but just yesterday I happened to hear a song from that album and it was actually ok.
